Coldwell Banker Professional, Realtors (CBPR) was founded in January 2002 by the merger of six independent area real estate firm
s, Today the merger partners Rick West, Tommy Thompson, Dorcas Helfant-Browning, Thomas Gifford, and William Shelton, oversee a company that has grown to seven branches situate from Williamsburg VA to Virginia Beach, VA.
The company has been named by RIS Media Real Estate magazine among the “Power Broker 500 Companies” since 2003. CBPR has been awarded the Coldwell Banker Chairman’s Circle Award numerous time, has ranked number one Coldwell Banker affiliate company in Virginia, and is among the top fifty CB affiliate companies nationally. The company has been a principal Broker Company with Cartus Relocation, the nation’s largest provider of relocation services, since 2002.
Agents affiliated with the company hold a host of designations and certifications recognized by the National Association of Realtors. Agents with the firm continue to be recognized by Coldwell Banker Corporate for outstanding sales production among their peers nationally.
